Together with navigator João Serôdio, both are starting in the 2012 FIA World Cup in the T2-category.
After the first start at the "Italian Baja" and a good 3rd position as overall result, the Isuzu D Max team will now participate in the "Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge" from March 30 until April 6, the second round of the 2012 FIA Cross Country World Cup.
For the crew the marathonrally in the United Arabic Emirates will give continuity to the ambitious project that are planned for this sports season - aiming for maximum points and winning the World Cup.
"It's our debut in a race with these characteristics" reported Rómulo Branco. "But I feel prepared to face this challenge. It provides to be a long, hard and difficult race and the navigation would be much more complicated then in Italy. Our Isuzu has proven to be able for good results which will help us achieve a good performance. We are highly motivated!"
