 | AD Desert Challenge: Silver for Marc Coma that he is still leading.
|

 | | | The high temperatures and sandstorms in recent days have exponentially complicated stage, a priori, should be a simple connector to the goal of the UAE Desert Challenge 2010.
The 314 kms that made Wednesday's fourth special, sharp and very fast tracks were totally blurred because of sandstorms in recent days. Even so, the pilot AMV Marc Coma, who took the bronze in yesterday's special, has maintained its fast pace and persevering. At the handlebar of his KTM, and after five hours of intense driving, the rider took another step towards the conquest of his new challenge.
The large amount of sand, which blurred the fast tracks of the fourth stage, slowed the pace of all members of the ordeal and forced them to generate an overstrain, physical and concentration, which was not part of their plans for the day .
Both sweat worth it. The second-placed finish Wednesday, lets face the last stage of the UAE Desert Challenge, with a difference of 10 minutes before his closest pursuer. Marc Coma, who lost more than two liters of water along the 314 kilometers, has completed the stage satisfied.
Marc Coma: "It's been a tougher than expected. The strong winds and storms of recent days have been filled by fast tracks which we had to pass today. This has much more complicated things and I could not let up in no time.
Temperatures around 40 º C with engine heat and lack of hydration has become today's stage, which in principle should be much easier and faster, a major challenge. We went back in front but with the theoretical peace of mind that fast tracks gave us a little leeway. I had to work hard to get second place. I am very satisfied with the performance of the KTM in extreme conditions. Hopefully tomorrow we will make a good performance."
