Africa Eco Race: Fidelia and Michelin joins the rally.

A partner from the very start of the 2009 edition, Fidelia Assistance has renewed the confidence it placed in the Africa Eco Race and will, once more, provide the race’s medical assistance. Part of the COVEA Group, Fidelia Assistance is a leader in its sector.

Specialising in aid and assistance operations, Fidelia Assistance has always showed a real willing to be part of human adventures, developing particular skills in providing medical assistance on sporting events. This experience, built up over many years on the greatest rally raids, will once more be available for those taking part in the Africa Eco Race 2010.

The multi-discipline medical team will be on the trail in medically equipped four-wheel drive vehicles, as well as being in the air with a helicopter solely used for emergency interventions, and at the bivouacs, where medical help will be available in a campaign hospital. The team in the field will be in permanent liaison with the team back in Paris, ready to help 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to evacuate the injured to suitable care facilities, if necessary.

A vital part of the world of motorsports for decades, the Michelin Group, with its makes Michelin and BF Goodrich, has chosen to be associated with the 2010 edition of the Africa Eco Race. Although there is nothing more to prove in terms of the excellence of its products for Cross-Country competition, the Michelin Group, by this partnership, is keen to show its interest in this event.
