 | Africa Eco Race: Portugal´s Elisabete Jacinto is ready for the first streak.

With everything verified at the Spanish port of Almeria, all is ready for Elisabete Jacinto and her teammates to start the 3rd edition of Africa Eco Race. The MAN TGS from Team Oleoban/MAN Portugal, with No. 301, will be the second truck to leave for the first streak, which will include a 150km selective sector.
"I feel highly motivated to start the competition. The team is well prepared and it pleases me to notice that this Africa Eco Race is also working very well. The organization was very kind to allow the Portuguese and Spanish entrants to be controlled here, otherwise I would have to leave Portugal on Christmas Day", stresses Elisabete Jacinto, who, with teammates José Marques and Marco Cochinho, is one of the strong candidates to absolute victory in the competition concerning trucks.
"Tomorrow’s streak is bound to be very much like its last year equivalent. René Metge promised to remove the mountainous beginning, so, if confirmed, the greatest difficulty will be navigating, for there are many parallel tracks and intersections. In what concerns driving, the planning is excellent", said the Portuguese driver.
