The second edition of the "Africa Eco Race" will take place from 27th December 2009 to 10th January 2010. This route across Africa, characterised by simplicity, conviviality and authenticity will be multifaceted race. The route, drawn up by the Sporting Director, René Metge, in collaboration with José Maria Servia will give the competitors new landscapes to admire and new challenges to overcome. A start from Spain and a finish in the Capital City of Senegal via Morocco and Mauritania, the equation is simple for a journey through the most fascinating desert of them all, the Sahara.

Monday, June 1st 2009: Entries open
Monday, November 30th 2009: Entries close
Saturday, December 27th 2009: Technical and Administrative Scrutineering.
Sunday, December 28th 2009: End of scrutineering / Prologue and Embarkation
Monday, December 29th 2009: Arrival in Morocco
Sunday, January 10th 2010: Finish of the 2nd edition of the "Africa Eco Race"
Prize-giving in DAKAR
Monday, January 11th 2010: Embarkation of the vehicles - Dakar/Europe (by ship)

Personal Fee (tariff per person)
Entries between 01/06/09 and 15/09/09: 8.400.- Euro
Entries between 16/09/09 and 30/11/09: 10.600.- Euro
The entry includes:
· Sporting fees for the competitor(s),
· Accommodation (nights at sea, bivouacs),
· Meals on the Spain / Morocco ship and meals in Africa (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner), except in Dakar,
· The obligatory safety material: Etrack, GPS, transponder,
· The prize-giving ceremony,
· Transport of the participants to Africa by ship (Spain / Morocco),
· Transport for the cars to Africa and back by ship (Spain /Morocco and Senegal /Europe),
· For the motorbikes and quads: fuel during the special stages,
· Insurance for the vehicles in Mauritania and Senegal,
· Medical repatriation insurance back to Europe,
· Civil responsibility insurance of the organisers

· Etrack, which is mandatory in all assistance vehicles
