 | ATL rally raid fuel bladders engineered to tackle brutal Off-Road Racing
|

 | | | ATL Fuel Cells (ATL) of Ramsey, New Jersey has engineered a series of rugged, explosion-proof fuel bladders that are designed, tested and proven to stand up and conquer the challenges of "Rally Raid" racing.
Off-road, cross country rally racing, or "Rally Raid", may be the most physically and mentally demanding form of motor sport on the planet, pushing both man and machine to their limits.
The new super-tough ATL Rally Raid fuel cell is constructed from a FIA-approved ballistic nylon and soft rubber plus foam baffling for anti-slosh and explosion suppression. The Rally Raid fuel bladder accepts gasoline and diesel fuels as well as E10 and E15 (Max 15% blended ethanol).
Within the bladder is a centrally located surge tank that features four one-way trap doors. This collector box ensures a constant, uninterrupted fuel flow by surrounding the fuel pick-up with fuel at all times.
Under acceleration, braking and cornering, the trap doors open, allowing fuel to rush into the collector box and feed the fuel pick-up. Additionally, four baffle vanes are built into the floor of the bladder that guide fuel toward the trap doors, making certain that every last drop of fuel is collected.
The ATL Rally Raid cell also features a lightweight aluminum fill plate with a 2-1/4 filler neck for smooth refueling. The neck is equipped with an FIA approved non-return fill valve that closes in the event of a rollover to deny fuel from leaking out the fill neck.
A #6 outlet, #6 return and #6 rollover vent valve also come standard. For added convenience, ATL also installs an in-tank fuel level sender probe and supplies a fuel level gauge with every Rally Raid fuel cell.
ATL’s Rally Raid fuel bladders are available in 200, 300 and 400-liter configurations and can be ordered with an optional aluminum container.
