After the engine of Mitsubishi L200 couldn't be repaired, Tomas and Mirek had to withdraw from Silk Way Rally. But they do not waste their time: they are on their way back home – and then to start at their next rally on Friday afternoon in Borsky Mikulas, Slovakia.
Baja Slovakia begins with a 7 km long prologue on Friday evening, for Saturday and Sunday the crews will cover 480 kilometres of timed sections on two tracks. Miroslav Zapletal and Tomas Ourednicek will use their spare car, a Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2 DI-D and their aim is to collect as many points as possible in the Central European Zone Trophy (CEZ CCR).
Members of the assistance team, Petr Zabransky, Honza Krasula and Zdenek Porizek continue with the Volvo truck to Ashgabat along the route of the Silk Way Rally.
