Baja Spain: Paralympic swimmer dives into the Baja.

| |
|
 | | | One of world’s best female swimmers, the 30-year-old paralympic athlete from Aragón, Teresa Perales, who suffers a paraplegia, will dry off from the swimming pool to splash into the Baja España Madrid-Aragón as part of the Suzuki-Colás Motor team, as co-driver of Vicente Colás.
Teresa, who has practically reached all goals in swimming competitions, is facing this challenge with a lot of illusion: "This is an experience I could not afford to miss. When I was offered the chance to participate in the Baja, I was delighted to accept, because as a sportswoman, and being from Aragón, I feel very attracted to this race, and I plan to enjoy it very intensely next week".
Teresa Perales has a brilliant career in paralympic swimming. She participated in the Sydney and Athens Paralympic Games where she won a total of two gold medals, three silver medals and seven bronze from the 2000 and 2004 editions. In the European and in the World Championship she has also a significant number of records, with five silver medals and two bronzes obtained in the last series held in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
