 | Baja Spain: Peterhansel still in front, Nani Roma with penalty.

 |  | | Stéphane Peterhansel leads Baja´s general clasification after the end of Staurday´s stages. X-Raid French sums a total time of 3:41.13, followed 1:12 by Nani Roma a 1:12. However, Mitsubishi Repsol Spanish driver got today a provisional 41 minutes penalty because he arrived to Zaragoza´s assistance in advance. This descision has to be confirmed yet by Race Direction, because it is provisional and can receive some appeal or complaints.
So, the second driver in provisional classification in Russian Boris Gadasin, who made the third best time this afternoon; followed by Leonid Novitskiy, Peterhansel´ X-Raid partner, and by Holland Wevers who, penalized 1 minute and couldn´t finish the day as third in the list. Polish Holwczyc, leader until yesterday thanks to his SSS results, accumulates finally a time of 3:51.57, that gives him the fifth positio in general classification. First Spanish classified (given that Roma is 23rd taking the penalty into account) is Luis Climent, eight.
In bikes, Chilean "Chaleco" López had some problems in his first Baja participation with the Aprilia 450. The electrical system went down yesterday and today forced him to leave the stage during the second part of the race.
Gerard Farrés, defending title, arrived to be second after the extremely surprising rithm Barreda is showing. Even though, the afternoon was quite hard for him because, due to some problems in the beginning of the stage, he had to be moved to the hospital after the race for a posible fracture in his right feet bones.
So, Joan Barreda keeps his advantage as leader, followed by Farrés and Marc Guasch. Pellicer, who was back after his last year´s absence, had to retire because of a breakdown in his KTM.
Referring to quads, Óscar Romero stays unbeatable and is closer and closer to hes objective: revalidate last year´s title. He has already a 3:37 minutes advantage over Xavi Montero. Aragon´s bike Trophy ended today with Luis Hernández´s victory , while buggies category is leaded by Iñaki Texeira.
