Baja Spain: Presentation of the Baja in Soria

The Soria City Hall held the official presentation of the Baja España Madrid - Aragón 2006. The race will regroup in the Los Pajaritos Football Stadium on the morning of Friday 21st after parting from Madrid and on their way to Zaragoza. This event will undoubtedly become a great show for the Soria citizens and the sports fans who are to stay close to this important round of the World Championship calendar.
The presentation featured the Mayor of Soria, Encarna Redondo, Efrén Martínez Izquierdo, President of the Soria Province, and Xavier Bartroli, President of Octagon Esedos. They all agreed on how significant it is for Soria to become a part of this major event, hoping that in the following years, this city of the Castilla y León region can participate in the race, which has significantly grown in distance covered in this year’s edition.
