Isidre Esteve: "The leg has been really hard. This morning I chose the wrong tire and I hadn’t a good wheel-drive. In the second lap I stopped because I was loosing power and after I regained slowly the rhythm and rode better. My worst problem today was the lack of power. The 1 minute difference is huge but I cannot speak until the end of the race."
José Manuel Pellicer: "I had a very nice duel with Esteve, I tried to overtake him but he noticed and got faster and both of us acquired a very strong rhythm. I get scared at some point and preferred not to risk more. Tomorrow I’ll try to win the leg, what’s always nice and assure the second place."
Jordi Viladoms: "I rode well beside the bad condition of the road and the lack of grip. In the second lap I got some fright due to the stones and tomorrow I’ll try to keep my position. But my rhythm is not as fast as the first one’s’ and I would be satisfied just with a podium."
Jozel Sykora: "I couldn’t imagine this result and the car is working great so that we are really satisfied of being the general leaders. The organization is very good and the circuit is great. With the advantage we have now I hope that we can keep the first place tomorrow until the end of the race."
Carlos Sousa: "Everything’s been ok until we had to stop and loose 21 minutes. We have been overtaken by several cars and after all we have had lots of difficulties to overtake and couldn’t make up enough. For tomorrow there is no special strategy beside trying our best during the 100km...we’ll try to win."
