|Balkan-Breslau: Participants finished Wednesday stage - watercrossings.|
A shorter day for the participants: Wednesday the stage was splitted in two routes for the Cross Country and Extreme Class. At 9:00 local time (8:00 CET) all competitors started on an old airport near the city of Sliven, the first kilometers they drove the same stage, then it was seperated. The round course fro the Cross Country class was about 235 kilometers with only 14 kms liaison, splitted in two stages with 162 and 70 kms each.
Like in the days before the CC´s first had to pass a very fast wide area during cloudy conditions and a very cold wind, then they went in the mountains again. The first participants reached the finish at 15:30 local time (14:30 CET). Highlight was a very fast track next to a railway with many extremely dangerous holes, which were marked with three attention-signs in the roadbook. "Take care" said organizer Alexander Kovatchov before the race. "I was passing the first hole with 120 km/h and totally destroyed the front of my Mercedes G-Wagen."
The Extreme class had an interesting and tough day - main theme was a river, which had to be passed several times. In one section they had to drive inside (!) the river for many kilometers...what sounds easy was more a trial than a rally, because the river was full of big stones which only could passed very slowly. Even the Dacia made the most of the parts, but the car doesn´t look like a serious Duster anymore. Today they lost again many parts...
