BORC 2007: First round of British Offroad Championship in Baden Hall.

| |
|
 | | | The first of the 2007 rounds will be held at Baden Hall near Stoke-on Trent (United Kingdom). This is a new venue for the organizers of the "British Off-Road Championship (BORC)" and replaces Driffield due to problems with the dates. The venue is disused artillery range and should be able to provide a single stage of about 4-5 miles. All the usual facilities will be available, camping, toilets and the beer/food tent.
The stages of the 2007 BORC series
1) Baden Hall, Staffordshire 14th/15th April
A new entry onto the calender, and a new challenge for the teams.
2) Ellesmere, Shropshire 2nd/3rd June
This is a venue that tests the teams to the limits - the forest sections are punishing and the grasslands are blisteringly fast.
3) Castle O'er, Scotland 30th June/1st July
This forest venue has a bit of everything, fast gravel tracks, rocky quarry sections, river crossings and mud.
4) Radnor Forest 8th/9th September
This Welsh borders forestry site has been used many times as a venue for stages in the World Rally Championship and contains plenty to keep off road fans happy too. As well as the mind-blowingly fast gravel tracks there are some hairy firebreaks and steep climbs and drops a-plenty to keep you entertained.
5) 27th/28th October - To Be Announced
