|Breslau TICKER: The last day! And in some categories everything is...|
...still open! Today is Saturday, the last day of the rally. The participants will have a showstart in the middle of the city of Zagan in Poland, then thy will drive a nearly 65 kilometers long stage through the forest, again passing a big mudhole which was easier than expected yesterday.
In the most classes everything is open now - ok, some participants maybe have a gap of more than one hour, but if they brake their rally-vehicle today... As we reported yesterday, the fight in the cars is between Germany, France and Italy.
In the heavy duty trucks it looks like a stable win for Harald Chemnitz with his IFA, but in the light trucks everything is open now... The Belgian Team De Lille and the two Germans Udo Heidenreich and Patrick Topefer are face-to-face, also the Unimog of Daniel Günther could eventually also reach the podium...
In the bikes there are only some minutes between the leader, because in some stages they drove together and helped each other - like on Friday. The fight is open between the three Dutchman Henk Knuiman, Rico van der Sanden and David Wijnhoven... and also the German Oliver Post, all were driving a KTM.
In the quads the leaders were also driving in a team, so they have only some minutes to each other... Eventually winner would be the three Polish drivers Piotr Ceklarz, Maciej Markiewicz and Remigiusz Kusy... The SSV are still open yet...
