CORR 2006: Announces appointment of new vice president

| |
| Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) owner Jim Baldwin today announced the appointment of motorsports veteran Ric Miller to the position of Vice President, General Manager of Operations whereby Miller will oversee event development, production and promotion of all Championship Off Road Racing series events. Miller comes to CORR with more than 30 years experience in the development, production and marketing of motorsports, concerts and family events designed for stadiums, arenas and special event venues.
Prior to his CORR appointment, Miller spent 10 years as Director of Event Operations for SCORE International managing and producing desert off-road races in Baja, Mexico, California and Arizona. Miller also served as Executive Vice President and Director of Operations for the Mickey Thompson Entertainment Group.
Jim Baldwin had this to say regarding Miller's recent acceptance of the new position, "It is great to have Ric Miller on board - this series is absolutely primed for growth and with someone like Ric in this newly created position, I think he can most certainly help to bring CORR to the next level!"
Ric Miller added, "Closed-course racing is one of the most exciting forms of off-road truck racing out there. Now that CORR is based on the West Coast, which is a bed of off-road enthusiasts, I'm hoping my background will be beneficial to CORR and the sport."
Baldwin also took this opportunity to announce that Lucas Oil, Nissan, Kumho Tires, Sunoco, and Skyjacker Suspension would all be returning sponsors this season. The "2006 CORR Lucas Oil Racing Series" returns to Southern California for the 2006 season opener in Chula Vista, CA on May 20 and 21st.
