Croatia Rally: Edi Ederer winner of SS2, leader in front of Gehri and Tonetti.

It doesn't change the ranking of the day, on Tuesday, after the controls of the marshall of the "Croatia Rally 2014 Dalmatia". The first three positions of the ranking have been confirmed and therefore no navigation errors, no track cuts and even over-speeding for the first 3 that are confirmed Edi Ederer (Germany, Suzuki), Michael Gehri (Switzerland, KTM) and Nicola Tonetti (Italy, KTM).

Change, the situation behind them since Cesare Gallina has taken 15 minutes penalty and slips to the 30th place, while in the fourth arrive the Austrian Peter Deinbacher (Husaberg) reported yesterday a delay of 2:33 minutes by the winner of the stage Ederer.

Piero Griffa climbs the ranking and stay in sixth position of tuesday stage detached 2:49 mins from the first. The other italian rider in the top fifteen positions is Marco Marini, 12th, who is facing the second rally of his career, after the debut of the Motorally in Elba Island a month ago.

Serena Borsi also rises to the rank, because as we know, women are more careful and precise, to the point of having conquered the stage on Tuesday an excellent 27th place, ahead of the German Christine Steinkrauss (KTM), 32nd.

A curiosity: On the 65 riders who finished the stage on Tuesday just 26 reported penalties, while six others were penalized with the standard fee for not completing the full stage. The overall ranking of the Croatia Rally after two days of competition now it is ever fought.

Edi Ederer leads with only 9 seconds ahead of Nicola Tonetti, while a little bit more detached from the duo that led the rankings is the austrian Peter Deinbacher at 6:07 mins from the first. The German Jan Pfeirer occupies the fourth position with his TM 530, while Piero shoe adapter holds the fifth place with 13:35 mins behind the leader.

The German Rene Koehler, quad KTM, is 14th overall after two stages while the best female performance in the overall is that of Serena Borsi that is even 17th absolute. Looking at the individual categories, distinct from the determination of the weight of the bikes, and not for the displacements, the Class A Light - which are the lightest bikes under 140 kg - is occupied by Edi Ederer, while in the class B, Medium, between 140 and 180 kg, the first in the standings is the Austrian, Alfred Hugl on Husaberg FE570.

The class C, Heavy, the heaviest of all, those that exceed 180 kg, see at the top the Suzuki DR Big SR43 of the german, Helmut Doetsch.

Today (Wednesday), all the drivers have the opportunity to do a little bit maintenance to their motorbik and to relax on the beautiful beach of Primosten, but tomorrow (Thursday) we start again with the race. They expect another beautiful stage of 340 kilometers with two special stages: The first of 25 km and 17 the second one...
