 |  | | Daily Blog-"Kicks" from the Iberian Rally Raid Champion Filipe Campos - Part 03: Another surprising day, at a time when Peterhansel, seemed to be the strongest of this Dakar, mecanic problems in his BMW, forced the French to stop twice to fix it, stopping altogether about 1:15 hours.
Who took advantage of this misfortune was the fleet of Volkswagen, especially Mark Miller, who won the stage and Carlos Sainz now the leader of the classification. Another Amazing drive from Robby Gordon with a fourth place in this special, the only one able to prevent the top four of the German brand. In the BMW, Chicherit was the best with a sixth place in the stage, showing a growing shape over the race. Carlos Sousa was again the fastest of the Portuguese, achieving the eighth on the stage, so up to 5 of the general. The pair of "Miguéis", Barbosa and Ramalho, up to eleventh place overall after the 14th place achieved in the stage. Ricardo Leal dos Santos, also went up in the tlabe, is now 15th, after the 19th place today.
In the motorcycles Cyril Despres, leads comfortably race, despite having made second today, loosing only 1:30 minutes to the local Aprilia Driver, Francisco Lopes Cortado. In the portuguese fleet, today was the day's of Ruben Faria sparkle, finaly appearing among the fastest geting the fourth place in the stage. Helder Rodrigues continues defending his third place overall, with a sixth place in the stage, while Paul Gonçalves climbed two places in general, to eighth, thanks to the excellent seventh place showing today.
