Daily Blog-"Kicks" from the Iberian Rally Raid Champion Filipe Campos - Part 05: Despite being the longest and for sure on of the toughest of this Dakar, today’s leg has not changed a bit on the top of the classification. Although, I have to underline that Carlos Sainz as lost an important part pf the advantage to Al-Attiyah, wich can probably mean that a lot can happen, despite VW "owning" the three first places.
Less positive was the day of the Portuguese teams. Carlos Sousa, went from 4th to 7th overall, although nothing to strange thinking that two of those positions were lost to the Chichérit and Peterhansel.
Hélder Rodrigues was able to keep the third place in the motorcycles, but now he was to defend it’s place from his rival from Norway, Ullevalseter, to whom he has a gap of only five minutes.
