 | Dakar 2010: Injured Zapletal/Ourednicek Team back in Czech Republic.

Miroslav Zapletal and Tomas Ourednicek from the Czech "Offroadsport"-Team will remember kilometer 309 in the 6th Special of the Dakar Rally 2010 forever - a huge whole broke their Mitsubishi L200 Strakar heavily and took sreiously parts of their health. After spinal surgery and 10 days spent in Santiago de Chile, Miroslav Zapletal was transported with medical escort to a Military hospital in Prague, where he will undergo next examination.
The accident seriously also injured co-pilot Tomas Ourednicek. After few examinaton in hospital doctors found out he has broken three vertebrae. Tomas spent couple of days in hospital and now he is back at home care. "I felt well, but I still had back pain. After CT screening doctors said I have broken vertebrae. It was shock for me. They said it is magic I can walk. Fortunately I don´t need to be operated, but I have to accept to wear a special corset for 3 months" comments Tomas Ourednicek.
