Dakar 2010: Isabelle Patissier back to Nissan Dessoude.

Having won the T2 World Championship in 2004 with Team Dessoude, Isabelle Patissier is returning to a team she knows well. Along with Thierry Delli- Zotti, Isabelle has since become a specialist in twowheel competition. On the 2010 Dakar, behind the wheel of a Buggy in the livery of the Team from Saint Lô, the attractive blonde will be keen to repeat her fine performance in the previous edition.

This year, Team Dessoude is likely to be the only team to enter at least one car in each category. With two four-wheel-drive T1 cars (Christian Lavieille and Zhou Yong), one two-wheel drive T1 (Isabelle Patissier), two T2 (Jipé Strugo and Frédéric Chavigny) and a T4 (Didier Panissié), Team Dessoude will be competing on all fronts. A prospect which pleases André Dessoude, who is delighted to see Isabelle back in the team.

"Isabelle’s return confirms the loyalty of our clients, which pleases me tremendously. Moreover, the two-wheel-drive category is quite interesting. We have been following it from a distance, but it is now the subject of extra motivation within the team, and with this development, we are perfectly in tune. I have confidence in Isabelle and Thierry, and I know they have a hand to play. The arrival of this fifth car gives a certain balance to the whole team. I know we will do a good job."

With the Buggy having reached the Saint-Lô workshop, Isabelle Patissier cannot hide her pleasure at being back in familiar territory: "Thierry and I are really very happy with this new configuration. We have put in so much hard work, which has not always paid off, so rejoining Team Dessoude is great news. To drive as part of a well-structured team has many advantages, and for a while now it has been exactly what we needed. We just need to get down to work to get a good result. All the ingredients are there, so we should be able to do our best."
