Dakar 2010: The McRae Enduro will return to South America.

Alister McRae, the younger brother of Colin McRae († 2007), launches a new challenge. By year end, he wants to return to South America to participate again in Dakar Rally at the wheel of his "McRae Enduro" Rallyraid-Proto. In 2009, four McRae Enduro startet at the Dakar. After 9500 km in Argentina and Chile, three prototypes reached the finish-line.
For 2010, Alister McRae sees further. Revised chassis, V6 engine changed to a dual-turbo V8 (also diesel), all-terrain McRae Enduro has undergone drastic changes. "Now we must find the funds needed to compete. My goal is to hire four cars and I think it is quite possible, "said the former WRC driver.
