 | Dakar Rally 2013: Russian and Kazakh Kamaz teams sets off for two Rallies.

 |  | | Several trucks of the Russian "Kamaz Master", ten-time Dakar champion, team will wheel a whole way from Naberezhnye Chelny on the Volga to the French Le Havre port where they will undergo a technical check before continuing their journey to Latin America by sea to fight again for the Dakar-title after the finished 3rd, 4th and 5th in 2012.
Four Kamaz Master teams (Nikolaev / Savostin / Rybak, Mardeev / Belyaev / Mirny, Kargin / Mokeev / Devyatkin, I. Mardeev / Mizyukaev / Khisamiev) will start in the Dakar in South America, the crew of Shibalov / Yakovlev / Sotnikov with the "Africa Race" in Africa.
"We have tried as far as possible to participate in many rally raids competitione this year" said Vladimir Chagin. "Crews show reliable ride. This gives us confidence for a successful performance at the Dakar. Our opponents are stronger than ever, but we are on a stubborn fight" he said in a press-conference in Russia.
Also the rally team "Astana" from Kazakhstan confirmed its participation with its expanded line-up. Last year, Kazakhstan’s Kamaz team was 3rd and best Kamaz in the Rally with Artur Ardavichus.
