 | Dakar Rally 2013 TICKER: Al Attiyah strikes cars again, Patronelli in quads.

The first cars reached the today´s finish line - and Qatari Nasser Al Attiyah strikes again. He won the 429 kilometers timed section between Nazca and Arequipa in 03:28:46 hours with his Qatar Toyo Buggy, eventually first in front of Guerlain Chicherit in his SMG Buggy (+36 seconds) and Stéphane Peterhansel in the fastest Mini All4 Racing (+1:17).
Best Toyota Crew is De Villiers / Von Zitzewitz (+4:17) on 4th position in front of Nani Roma in the second Mini (+7:27).
Carlos Sainz in the second Qatar Buggy lost time today after technical problems, also Lucio Alvarez with his Overdrive Toyota. Robby Gordon eventually rolled his Hummer.
In the overall rankings Stéphane Peterhansel is still leading with 5:16 minutes to Al Attiyah and 33:22 mins to Giniel de Villiers.
Also the first Quads reached the finish. First was the Argentinian Yamaha-rider Marcos Patronelli with 04:25:46 hours, 9:48 minutes in front of the Dubai-rider Sebastien Husseini (Honda) and the Pole Lukasz Laskawiec (Yamaha, +15:45).
