"FFasola" has always thought to this idea and together with Sailor.Tex, admired tour operator in the field of Sail, has gave birth to a "passionate" meeting of two very different activities, off-road motorcycles and sailing, which have in common a particular taste for the hobbies, holidays and activities linked with nature.
The "Moto Vela Tour" (Bike Sail Tour) is born combining in a "revolutionary" initiative the love for sailing and for off-road riding.
The "Sailor.Tex", born in 1992 on the lake of Como, and "landed" in 2002 in Viareggio, is today a firm reality, with administrative offices in Milan and a fully equipped water sports center in the new tourist Tuscan port of Marina Cala De' Medici in Castiglioncello, near Livorno.
The FFasola Enduro Academy, evolution of the Fasola School founded in 1989 with the 1° camp in Passo del Brallo (PV), has different locations: At the Tuscany Renaissance Resort in Castelvecchio Pascoli (open all year long) and in other Italian regions: Marche, Lombardy and the well-known location at Island of Elba.
Here is the "vision" of the "Moto Vela Tour". Boarding at the port of Castiglioncello, on a modern, fast and equipped sailing yacht from 10 to 16 meters, equipped with every comfort. Sailing to the Island of Elba and arrival at Portoferraio, the charming old port inside the dock of the Medici family.
A few hours for "shopping" and tourism, appetizer, dinner and night in the "bunk". On the next morning, early, briefing, boots and helmet and immediately on the bike along tracks and mountains of the island. Return at sunset, evening at the restaurant in the port, well-deserved sleep in the cabin.
