 | FIA World Cup 2013: Russian G-Force Team to present new Rallyraid Proto.

The Russian [ G-FORCE MOTORSPORT ] Team is well known: With their "G-Force Proto", based on a strictly rebuilt Nissan Navara Chassis with V8-engine and the drivers Boris Gadasin (4th in World Cup 2012 with 74 points) and Vladimir Vasilyev (9th, 50 pts) the Team is home on many international rallies and winner of events like the "Italian Baja" or "Silk Way Rally".
Now the team presented first pictures and informations about the 2013 rallyraid-car - called "G-Force Proto MK2" with a radically new and interesting design, prepared in accordance with the FIA 2012-2013 T1-regulations.
Suspension, engine, transmission, design, ergonomics - everything is made from scratch, using the experience and developments. "We have analyzed the best examples of the factory machines in the first place, Volkswagen and Mitsubishi" the team reported shortly before the Dakar Rally.
"With our previous model, we were able to fight with the best rallyraid cars. The look of the new machine we have given into the hands of the famous designer Victor Puntus, and managed to create a dynamic, aggressive, dramatic image of the car, which is able to win new titles for the team G-Force."
Informations about the technical background were not told, but: "We can say that we remain on the gasoline engine, but like in the former G-Force Proto." The suspension is designed again by Donerre, "but the new car will be the first with these new shocks."
The former prototype, based on Nissan chassis, was developed in 2009. "We've worked hard on the evolution of the car, but now the project is close to perfect and refine something does not make sense - it's just a waste of time and money. Therefore, we have set ourselves the task to develop a radically new car, and this occupies almost half of the year" G-Force reported.
The new project is not far in the future - last week the first prototype had it´s first rollout. "We are now preparing for more tests - private or in selected stages of Russian Championship runs, but not in competition. The first real battle will be hopefully the "Silk Way Rally" 2013 with two cars, piloted again by Boris Gadasin and Vladimir Vasiliev. So from the middle of the season our new machine will be ready to fight again."
