 | FIA World Cup: J.L. Schlesser puts pressure in World Cup after Baja Poland.

The "Baja Poland" which took place in September 6th to 9th, with a terrible heat, saw a new victory of the Sonangol Schlesser Buggy in 2 wheels drive. From the beginning of the year, the challenge for the "Sonangol-Schlesser Team" is to finish the races and at the best position. This is not so simple because this year, some bajas, are not really adapted for the beautiful blue buggy.
"The race was extremely difficult because tracks in undergrowth, were narrow and slippery, with sometimes some mud in spite of the dry and warm weather. The tiredness was caused to nerves especially, it was necessary to stay very concentrated! This competition was rather very favorable to 4 wheels drive" said Jean-Louis Schlesser.
"We were well served by our Cooper tires because in spite of stones which lined the track, we had no flat. In the paddock, the atmosphere was appreciated with all the spectators who came in family asking for autographs. It was a very nice weekend."
"After this new victory, the 2 Wheels Drive World Cup cannot escape any more to our team. Can’t wait to race on the next "Pharaons Rally" (From 29th September to 6th October) which will be more adapted to our car" the Frech Rally legend told.
