 | Grand Erg: One day of compulsive break for the rally on Friday in Douz.

Rallyreport by Joerg Russler: Time for repairing the vehicles, regeneration for those drivers stranded in the sand. After one day break in Douz, the rally is supposed to continue Saturday.
For this reason the teams need to return to the outdoor camp in Zmela. Two hours drive. However the car casualties have been successfully mended.
The arrival in camp Zmela is about just as stormy as yesterday’s departure from Tembaine, as the sand is powerfully whirled through the air. In the evening there is once again a lot of bustle in the Bedouin camp.
After all there is an all-clear signal form the participants. Almost everyone has returned from the dunes, after spending two nights in the outdoor camp.
Teams which haven’t arrived in camp yet are: team Hudribusch (107), which is driving on its own axles again and the recovery vehicles one and two which are carrying Kasten (102) and Becker (207).
The participants Britz (401) and Berlit (405) are still rescuing Wurmbrand (100) and Oberberger (105) with their “KAT” vehicles. Till tomorrow’s start at 10:00 everyone wants to be present again.
