Short update from the second (night)stage about 393 kilometers (01:56 CET / 02:56 local time): After nearly 50% of the stage, the Bulgarian Mercedes-crew Desislav Slavchev / Margarita Staynova are still leading the rally - but behind them we maybe see some changes.
The Israelians Heyman / Segal lost the right route after the deviation (we reported), lost a lot of time and will try to go back in the right track. Update 02:19 CET: Surprisingly maybe due to a misunderstanding the yellow Pointer crew arrived back in the camp.
Surprise: Following the live tracking, maybe the Greek Ignatios Orfanos and Sakis Mattheou are now second with their Mitsubishi Pajero V20, followed by the Italians Vincenzo Cangi and Paolo Manfredini (Isuzu D-Max prototype)...
Because of security reasons and speed limits, the amateur-class is "only" driving 301 kilometers tonight. Maybe leading this class are three teams from Greece: Stamatakis Konstantinos / Christos Tsaligopoulos (Suzuki Jimny), Giorgos Koutsoumpos / Mitsos (Daihatsu Feroza) and Christos Machairas / Pantelis Kaltsos (Suzuki Jimny). Former second Roberto Musi from Italy (Land Rover Defender) lost time time because he got stuck in the mud...
