Headline: ASO to stop Hubert Auriol´s Africa Race Rally

This could be a sensation: With an official annoucement the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) told, that the new "Africa Race" from the former Dakar-Winner and Race-Director Hubert Auriol will be cancelled: "By decision of the Tribunal of Nanterre the Africa Race has been banned because it was contrary to the rights of Amaury Sport Organization Societies and Paris-Dakar (TSO ex-Thierry Sabine Organization). The Africa Race, edition 2008/2009, set of 26 December 2008 to 11 January 2009, is canceled." Nothing is clear yet, inside the official website of the "Africa Race" there are no new informations, the english section of the Website was stopped.
