UPDATE 16:38 CARS The Greek driver Vasilis Boudros has won the "Hellas Rally" 2013 in the bikes category after the last stage on Friday with his Husaberg FE450 with 14:24:56 hours overall, only 7:56 minutes in front of the Italian Christian Pastori (Beta), the British Richard Kaye (Honda CRF450, +43:27 min), Claudio Berlati (Italy, Yamaha WRF450, +49:24) and Roland Ennsmann from Austria (KTM, +53:33).
In the quads the winner is Zornitsa Todorova from Bulgaria with her Yamaha Raptor in 15:58:56 hours in front of Edward Jerak from Slovenia (Arctic Cat, +02:04:26). The cars are still in the race, detailed informations will follow druring the day.
In the last stages especially in the cars there was a heavily fight between the Israelian Heyman (Mitsubishi-BMW Proto) and the former leader Dimitriadis / Kalfas (Mitsubishi Pajero T1, Greece). But the Greek duo "lost their nerves", first their "Highjack" was broken during changing a tire, then they tried it too fast and destroyed a second tire including the rim...so the way was open for Heyman.
In the mid-day is was clear: The Greek Mitsubishi-crew didn´t lost only the overall lead and win, they also lost the podium. From 15 cars only 8 reached the finish line on Friday.
Heymann / Segal (Israel, Mitsubishi/BMW Proto) won the race with 01:26:03 progressive timed hours (after Greek regulations), followed by the Italians Camporese / Terranova (Isuzu D-Max Proto, 01:57:56), Shekel / Shekel (Israel, Mitsubishi Proto, 03:41:55), Shapira / Golst (Israel, Mitsubishi Pajero T2, 03:51:15) and the Greek Pajero-crew of Dimitriadis / Kalfas (04:32:38).
