HunGarian Baja: Comments before the race 4.

László PALIK (Nissan Pickup): “This championship is promising a very exciting endgame. There are four teams having mathematic chance for the championship title – with us among them. This is going to be a not so long but very dense race where the technique has to be protected since there will be only relatively short service times between the stages. Along with all this I think that everybody will try to stretch the borders till the utmost extremes. I believe it is worth to do autoracing especially for the days like this. We haven’t finished the season with this race yet, it is possible that we will take part in some more cross-country races and I will be there at the FIA GT event at the Hungaroring on next weekend and we will start in the 12-hour race in October too, also at the Hungaroring.”

Zoltán BÁLINT (Nissan Pickup): “We would really like to perform very well at the HunGarian Baja. I know this area, we took part in the Veszprém Rally and I know what can be expected. This year the fifth position was our best result, and it is no doubt that we needed some luck for that. The top of the field is very strong, to be frank, our car can be good for approx. the fifth-tenth positions. The Saturday is going to be extreme long, I think that we will need more than good luck to gain the fifth position here again.
