Hungarian Baja: Interviews in the first service of Sunday.

Palik László: Today we were safe-racing, our result was weaker then the last one of yesterday by two minutes. Although, the state of the tracks has also deteriorated by one minute due to the rain. At every curve, which seemed a bit risky, we went little slower, as we did not want to hazard our champion title. But our result is still okay, especially that we are on the fourth place now due to the crash of Gadasin. We could even give one minute to the Dutch, who was behind us with 3 and half minutes. In the next two selectives, we will continue the same strategy. But from now on we will concentrate on the Baja, and try to keep this fourth place. I will be able to be calm and satisfied only in the finish, as we still have some kilometres to go.

Szalay Balázs: Until the second half of the stage, everything went smoothly, but then the ambulance car came just in the opposite direction. We had the stand aside, and then we were informed about the happenings. After that we continued very slowly. What is more, we first thought that we can not continue, due to cancelling the stage. Finally, we decided to push harder. We are really sorry for Baba, as he is the engine of the whole cross-country rally sport. Considering our technical problems of yesterday, we can be really satisfied with the result, with this third place.

Lukács András: I feel terrible, as Baba had a really serious accident, which also makes me very sad, and I think that it spoils the atmosphere of the whole race.

Birnbauer Zoltán: We had a really pleasant race, even though that we could not afford new tyres, which we would have really needed. Compared to the conditions, our fourth place is a very satisfying result. Especially that Erik and Liszi are also behind us.

Korda Erik: I really feel sorry for Baba, as this car was his life; I hope he will be able to get over this accident. Unfortunately this is part of the rally racing. It is still lucky that they did not get hurt. We got a puncture yesterday on the third selective, we had to change the tyres, and unfortunately we lost four minutes there, so the whole race was lost for us. However, it was a good race that we really enjoyed.
