 | Italian Baja: Gadasin already signed the "Rauscedo" superspecial stage.

 The Italian Baja finally started on Friday and the Russian Boris Gadasin with his G-Force Proto (Nissan Navara) already had the best time in the 6,56 km super special "Rauscedo" in 4:42 minutes. As expected, the hardest racer to fight has been the Polish Krzysztof Holowczyc (Nissan) who came 19 seconds later. Third temporary place for the Hungarian Karoly Fazekas (BMW X5) 38 seconds ahead of the Belgian Joost Van Cauwenberge (Nissan Navara) for 39 seconds.
Time differences already enough defined for such a short prologue, but defining the value of the racers on the route, while some drivers came last because of various technical problems, as the Dutch Tonnie Van Dejine, at the last position with almost 16’ delete and a compromised race. Roberto Ciampolini (Mitsubishi Ralliart) also started quiet bad, with a delete of 5:55 minutes.
First among the Italian racer was Maurizio Traglio (Nissan Pathfinder) with the local navigator Erika Pajer, in 5th position in the general ranking with 5:25 minutes, followed by the Champion in charge Riccardo Colombo (Mitsubishi L200) in 17 seconds.
Saturday’s first stage will be the 65,86 km special stage "Edi Orioli", that cars must repeat three times, while bikes and quads are supposed to repeat it only twice. Starting from Zoppola for the Fia racing cars at 8:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., followed by bikes and quads (10:00 a-.- and 1:30 p.m.) and final line in Valvasone after passing through the country side along the Cimpello-Sequals and the rivers Cosa and Tagliamento.
