 | Italian Baja: Holowczyc wins in Italy, B. Novitskiy and Matos new FIA leader.

The Polish Krzystof Holowczyc (Nissan), navigated by the Belgian Jean Marc Fortin, won in the overall time of 3:40:01 the 17th edition of the race, ahead of the Ukrainian Bogdan Novitsky and Vitality Evtekhov (G-Force Proto) with a 3:49 minutes gap and of the Hungarian Karoly Fazekas and Peter Maurer (BMW X5) with a gap of 6:44. In T2-Class the winners are the Italian Valentino Bombelli (Mitsubishi Pajero) in front of Gianluca Tassi (Italy, Mitsubishi) and Nuno Matos (Isuzu D-Max) from Portugal.
In the FIA Worldcup for Cross Country Bajas now Bogdan Novitskiy is the new leader in T1 and Nuno Matos in T2. In the news-section you will find the actual results of the Baja and actual standings in the Worldcup. Detailed news will follow on Monday during the day.
