"Italian Baja’s" organization (15-18th March 2012) goes on without taking a breath, while registration’s list is becoming longer day by day.
The Hungarian driver Imre Varga, who is very well known in Pordenone, won "the challenge" and gained the top position in the on-line registration, just in front of the Italian Paolo Mora, who didn’t miss any edition of the race since 1994.
As usual, "bigs" will wait the very last moment to confirm their registration, becoming part of the World Cup competition. As this year bikes and quads will be also include in the World Cup challenge, riders try to understand what’s brewing.
Last weekend, the "Motorally day" took place in Bologna, where the [ ITALIAN BAJA ] delegation described the track and explained the whole competition.
In the meanwhile, just six weeks before the starting day, historical co-operators and their collegues of Belluno are going to get the Race’s officer licence and become Technical Stewards, after passing the proper examination.
This represents another step forward in safety for the Pordenone Fuoristrada Club 4x4, whose Jury President during the Baja will be Carlos Barbosa, President of the Automobile Club in Portugal.
