The "Off Road Club 4x4 Pordenone" is engaged to finish the track of the Italian Baja 2010 and some innovations that surely will be appreciate from the contenders. No need to renounce the beauty of the passages on the gravel bed of the Tagliamento river, the track 2010 will have a more compact and regular bottom, less destructive for the mechanical parts of the vehicles in race, respecting therefore the indications of the new regulations of this specialty.
Cars, motorcycles, quads and perhaps some trucks will find a more rally-style track, or better, truly "cross-country", in a position to exalting the guiding ability more than the one capable to avoid the traps of the land.
Waiting for the release of the secrets of the selective sectors, the organization is glad to announce an absolute innovation, that is the "Happy Hour Baja" on Friday March 19th, when all the competitors of the prologue will have to make a stop at the Social Wine Cellar of Rauscedo for a drinking toast to the race (without exceeding the permitted limit).
They will be able to put sport and friendship together, the taste of the challenge and the heat of the hospitality. The Social Wine Cellar of Rauscedo will deliver an "eno-gift" to the competitors, which then they will carry this prestigious brand in their various home countries.
"The idea of a homage to the participants of the Italian Baja has come to me" Mauro Tavella explains "to present the sense of Friuli hospitality and the goodness of the fruits of our earth. Speaking about that with the leaders of the Social Wine Cellar, finding them quickly enthusiastic and available."
The following Saturday and Sunday will be more serious, when the kilometers to cover will be almost 350, in order to conclude everyones hard work up to Spilimbergo with the arrival parade at the Garibaldi public square.
