 | Libya Rally: In memoriam - Co-Organiser Brigitte Tedesco died last week.
|

 | | | From Gert Duson Dear friends, Friday 17th September was a black day for the rally world. Brigitte Tedesco, my right hand and best friend passed away in my arms after a tragic fall from my car. Together with me Brigitte was a driving force for Libya Rally, Touareg Trail and our other projects in the Sahara & black Africa.
Brigitte was a goddess, a child of the desert. Words are not enough to describe the loss. She lived her life with enthusiasm, passion and energy and made others feel alive. She motivated. She fascinated. She was an endless source of inspiration for me and for anyone who has had the privilege of crossing her path. Her motto was: "Live today like it’s the last; but make projects as if you were here for eternity". Now she has claimed her place in eternity. We will never forget her.
Bon voyage, Brigitte. We will miss you so much.
On 26th September Brigitte would have turned 60 and would have become a grandmother for the first time. She leaves a son and daughter (Remy & Katia) behind as well as both her parents and 2 sisters.
Those who want to say a last farewell, or support the family, are welcome at the ceremony which will take place on Friday 24th September at 14.00h in the crematorium of Uccle (Rue du Silence 57, Uccle). More information will follow. On this website we will create a 'Book of Condolences' for anyone wishing to write their messages of condolences, special memories and who wish to pay their respects. This book will be given to her family.
