 | LOORR 2012: Kyle LeDuc and Toyo undefeated in Lucas Oil Offroad Series
|
Kyle LeDuc and Toyo Tires swept their second consecutive weekend in the "Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series" (LOORR) on the new track layout at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Lake Elsinore, California (USA).
Firmly leading the Pro 4 Unlimited class championship points, LeDuc and his Toyo Open Country M/T-R equipped Ford F-150 have scored four wins in a row (Rounds 1 - 4) to go undefeated in the Pro 4 Unlimited class in 2012.
LeDuc and his #99 Ford were untouchable at Lake Elsinore this past weekend. During Saturday’s (Round 3) Pro 4 Unlimited main event, he was nearly two-seconds quicker and nearly three miles per hour faster per lap over the second place finisher. The field of 11 trucks could only watch as LeDuc drove away with an easy victory.
"It has been a great season so far. Toyo Tires has provided my truck and my team with only the best equipment on the planet and we believe that product to be our major tool to success," said LeDuc. "The only thing touching the dirt that makes our truck the fastest is our Toyo´s M/TR’s!"
During Sunday’s Pro 2 Unlimited class race, Rodrigo Ampudia scored a third place finish with his #36 Ford Raptor. Ampudia also placed on the podium in third during Round 2 at Firebird Raceway in Arizona.
"We congratulate Kyle on winning four consecutive races so far in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series," said Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports, Toyo Tire USA. "He and his Toyo tires have been unbeatable in Pro 4 Unlimited. We also congratulate Rodrigo Ampudia for capturing his second podium of the year."
