 | Northern Forest: Latvian Rally-Raid Championship invites participants.

The Baja "Russia - Northern Forest 2010" will have the status of not only the 2nd round in the FIA International Cup for Cross-Country Bajas and the 1st event in the Russian Championship, but also the 2nd race in the Latvian Rally-Raid Championship. A joint-event of the two national championships was first held last year. This season there will be 2 common events already: The winter Baja "Northern Forest" in Russia and the "Riga" Baja, to be held in Latvia at the end of June.
The Latvian series consists of 6 events, one of which is held in Russia, and another - in Lithuania. 4 best results of the season will count towards the championship. Last year at the "Northern Forest" Baja the sportsmen from Latvia showed such a great performance, that it was acknowledged that competing against them was not only very interesting, but indeed very difficult as well.
To take part in the event of the Latvian Championship, crews competing in the Baja "Russia - Northern Forest" must present at administrative checks the permission of their ASN to take part in an international competition, and specify that the crew also competes in the Latvian Championship. The entry fee for the "Northern Forest" Baja won't be increased.
