Northern Forest: "What they said" after Stage 2 (Sunday).

Boris Gadasin (Winner, Russia): "Sunday’s track was interesting. To have to adapt to it and to deal with wheel tracks left yesterday, when we raced the opposite direction. So now they seem illogical. You have to race very accurately when car is pulled outwards in curves."

Ruslan Misikov (2nd, Russia): "Curves are dug into backwards. Each time you go sweeping front wheels tend to hit snow border and rear ones are sliding. At first I thought that I’m making one mistake after another and got upset a bit. But then I thought it over and understood that everyone is in equal position - and that is what matters to me."

Janis Naglis (3rd, Latvia): "It’s very different. You remember places but still it’s all different. And what is most important - it’s driven in backwards with wrong curves trajectory. But still it’s great!"

Christian Lavieille (8th, France): "This was quite a very interesting Baja and it was my first time in snow. I hope, this Baja will be added to the FIA European Baja Cup, because it´s worth it, the Organisation made a very good job, the conditions in the Snow are totally different and interesting for Rallyraid participants - and it would be a great thing, to get more international competitors to Russia. I´ll come back next year - but then with my own car to see, what is possible then."

Dominique Housieaux (5th, France): "A great race, totally different conditions to all i know before. I was fast from the beginning, because i talked with many other participants to get knowledge in the snow. It was easier than we thought, the conditions on snow with the right preparing is similar to drive on gravel. I also hope, that in 2007 the Baja will be grow and to meet more international competitors in Russia."
