 | Oilibya du Maroc: Vigouroux and Winocq new leaders in the overall standings.

"We would have tried to write the perfect scene since the start of the race, but we could not have imagined it better," said Eric Vigouroux at the finish line of the third stage which marks half of the race. "We climb one step each day, and I must admit it´s very satisfying."
"We started today´s stage full gas behind Holowczyc´s Mini and with all of the effort we put into it, we decreased the gap as we continued in the track, slowly but safely. We tried to keep the Mini in sight among the dust so we could profit of the opportunity that would be presented in front of us in case our main rival would make a mistake."
The strategy paid because at the moment we approached to a trial section with stone blocks, the Mini was not that confortable so Vigouroux and Winocq decided to stay away from this mine road and open up their own track finding a better way to the exit of this area.
"I think that Holowczyc has suddenly seen the Trophy-Truck disappear in his rearview mirror, and did not imagine seeing us in the other side. So, he raised his pace, maybe a bit too much, on a stony track, because some kilometers after that we saw the Mini stopped due to a puncture in a rear tire."
"We run at an infernal rhythm until the end of the special stage. We felt like the car was flying from one bump to the next! It was very exciting, but we had to stay much focused because the least mistake would be paid there in cash!"
"Alex performance was outstanding once more, his notes were enchained like music and I just had to follow the rhythm like an orchestra on the road! In summary, we experienced a great day in every single way, and in beautiful landscapes, especially for the crossing of a gigantic crater that offered a breathtaking sight."
"I would like to mention the exceptional job accomplished by our dear mechanics David and Bernard - and yes, there are only two men that take care of the Trophy Truck so we can be at the start every morning with the car perfectly checked, thanks to them!"
Tomorrow will be another sandy day, which is always a concern for a two wheel drive vehicle in the case it gets stuck because minutes fly away fast as you are trying to get out. Let´s cross our fingers."
