OiLibya Rally: Novitskiy and Tyupenkin on the way of recovery.

On 1st May, during the penultimate stage of the 27th OiLibya Tunisia Rally X-Raid Russia’s Leonid Novitskiy and Oleg Tyupenkin suffered a serious accident. At km 11 of the special, the Russians’ BMW rolled at high speed and both crew members were injured.
Novitskiy and Tyupenkin were evacuated immediately by the rally’s medical team to a Djerba hospital where they received first aid and they are at the moment in Germany where they are going through rehabilitation.
The team plans to take part at the Silk Way Rally which starts from Kazan, Tatarstan, on 5th September.
