Optic Tunisia: Description of the 7th stage Matmata-Matmata.

One day to go, before the race for the ultimate finish line, the competitors will discover lunar landscapes, film sets from "Star Wars" and that the first 100 km will actually be the same as the last 100km covered the day before but in reverse. There, the driving will be once again tested before heading towards Ksar Ghilane and its sandy landscapes.
A more or less visible track winding between small dunes will lead the competitors to the channel of Bibane which they will cross before taking a constant heading of 50 for 45 km on a former oil-route track. An entirely new sector with many sand spits still tricky to negotiate will lead them to the finish of this second loop of the Optic 2ooo Tunisia Rally. A 45 km link through plantations will lead the competitors to the bivouac of Matmata where the VIP guests will be waiting for them.

Special: Techine - Bir Negra 273 km
Liaison: Bir Negra - Matmata 45 km
