Optic Tunisia: Route of stage 3 Nekrif - El Borma.

Thursday the rally start with some technical and twisting (western style) canyon tracks, before attacking a real "off-track" in the magnificent marshes of Borj Jenein. After the marshes the going will be easier. Heading south, following the Libyan border to the oil well at Tiaret. Then west towards Algeria.
But beware the following km could cause a few problems, a small matter of a dune track called "la passe de la douane". Then for the finish the competition moves off-track again into the erg d’El Borma. Maximum concentration for the navigation since the new regulatin with no GPS way points not being allowed, thus rehearsing for the next day’s racing. Then at last a quick 20km to the awaiting bivouac well placed amongst some palms at the foot of an enormous dune.

Transfer 14 Km - Special Stage 325 Km - Liaison 12 Km - Total 351 Km
