The interesting part of this loop is the differentiating terrains encountered. The start will be on a narrow windy track covered in vegetation, making for a nice relaxing drive. There will even be some camels grass. Here the pace quickens as the track is marked by the numerous border posts of the national guard. The competitors will then head west to Fort Mched Salah. Then after a stony section, which might be hard on the tyres, the rally will then pass by the Old Fort Ksar Jedid. From here the track will be easy going, driving with a small mountain range on the right. So in total interesting and varied, in which concentration will be needed on your navigation as well as your driving.
