Optic Tunisia: What they said after Leg 2 Tunis-Douz.

| |
| Christian Laveille (France/Nissan Navara Proto): "We were able to attack better today because the car’s coming together. We start first tommorrow, but i’m not worried because i’ve the experienced Francois Borotto next to me."
Pedro Gancha (Portugal/Mitsubishi Pajero): "We lost a bit of time due to a wiper problem. It was strange to open the way because we’re not used to reading the roadbooks."
Eric Vigouroux(France/Trophy Truck Chevrolet): "This special was great. We had a great start but due to a few showers, the road got slippery, we finished the rest gently."
Jean-Louis Schlesser (France/Schlesser Ford): "Yesterday the weather was Tunisian and today it was Corsican, it wasn’t the stage for us."
Marc Coma (Spain/KTM Repsol): "It was nice to a special instead of a real long liason, even if it was only 25km. It was satisfying but hard to make up any time, the real stuff starts tommorrow."
Romain Souvignet (France/Yamaha 450): «I can’t believe it, i went flat out, but to finish just behind Coma is great. Especially on my first Africain rally. It’s going to be tight tommorrow morning amongst the big boys."
David Casteu (France/KTM Gauloises): "I had to get used to using the roadbook again, in Corsica it was just the dangers that we looked for. Here i made an error in navigation which cost me nearly a minute."
Angelo Montico (Italy/Honda TRX 450R): "I had such fun. Flat out since the start. It was made for quads. On top of that, i made some time up on Declerck, handy when the big engines risk to stretch out in the big desert sections."
