Optic Tunisia: What they said after Leg 4 El Borma-El Borma.

Jean-Louis Schlesser (France/Schlesser Ford Buggy): "Another nice day today. With real big dunes to a fast track up to the assistance, where you could almost imagine in another time, with jumps of 15 meters."

Christian Lavieille (France/Nissan Dessoude Proto): "We miscalculated the tyre pressures, putting more than yesterday when the sand was softer. A close call once or twice and we were a bit short on power in the small dunes."

Pascal Thomasse (France/Nissan Buggy): "All we did was to drive within the Buggy’s limits, with this third place it reopens the race for us."

Marc Coma (Spain/KTM Repsol): "I started with a good rhythm, then slowed in the dunes due to the going getting difficult. After that David and I rode together?"

David Casteu (France/KTM Gauloises): "I fought for 140km to catch Marc. We navigated together from then on. Then in the last loop we suddenly decided to go for it, just out of pure pleasure, it was great. The dunes were enormous. We even had a downhill of about 300 meters long."

Michel Marchini (France/Yamaha 450): "A stupid fall at 20km/h. I was particularly careful in the broken dunes. I’m going at my speed and I’m learning everyday. If at the end of the race I reach the podium, it will be all bonus. I don’t even want to think about it yet."
