Panamericana 2006: New Worldrecord Project in America.

A few weeks ago we reported about the three-month advance journey about the new Worldrecord-Biofuel-Project "Panamericana2006". The time has come now - the preparations for the Worldrecord Biodiesel Drive of the two German Matthias Jeschke (High Altitude Worldrecord holder) and Joerg Sand has entered the final phase.

In May the both Germans want to drive the whole "Panamericana" Route about 25,000 kilometres from Alaska (North America, USA) till Tierra del Fuego in the South of South America. To prove the everyday practicability of this environmentally friendly energy source, the team will be the very first to use alternative fuel along the whole of the longest and most spectacular road in the world - and this in only 15 days.

The idea behind the project is to give worldwide publicity to the use of fuels based on renewable raw materials. With the allied support of as many people as possible, we are aiming to draw the attention of energy users and energy providers to the enormous potential of energy from renewable raw materials. will support the new Worldrecord-Project with daily internet reports directly from the team.
