Pharaons 2006: Flex Dakar Team after stage 1.

The crew of Flex Dakar Team - Balazs Szobi, Attila Eder, Akos Jobbagy - have completed successfully the first stage of Pharaons Rally. The team set an example of fairness for the competitors when they saw on top of dune the stopped the Hungarian Nissan-Team Kis/Czegledi (because of clutch problems) and they drew them from km 143 to CP4 Control Point which was about 90 km long. The team have finished at place 23rd in overall and place 5th in category T4.
Driver Balazs Szobi yesterday evening: "We could move on well, we passed some small dunes but usually fast, measured parts were a feature of at today stage. We lost about 1 hour from the others because of draw but we try to catch them on next stages. We need to get used to the African high temperature, the degrees is high in the desert. During the draw the engine temperature of the truck began raised and we must switch on the heating, therefore the inner temperature had increased for higher. At overall I have satisfied with our result."
