Pharaons 2006: Hungarian Flex MAN-Team after Stage 2.

The Hungarian Flex Dakar Team has finished without any serious technical problem the special stage which was 438 km long on Wednesday, therefore they are still in the race in truck category just like the other Hungarian team (Kis/Czegledi) in car category who could repair their damaged vehicle. Without any serious technical problem, because the team had a small one during today stage. On one part of the stage the ground was changed so hardy and bumpy that the bolts of the guard-plate of fuel tank were cut off and the guard-plate was fallen down. Fortunately this little technical problem was not caused damage in the vehicle and hopefully they can fix it at service area at the bivouac.
The team has - jumped ahead 2 places - finished on place 21st in overall and stayed on place 5th in their category.
Balazs Szobi: "Today stage was characterized with sands, dunes and fast tracks as yesterday. The fallen downed guard-plate was not caused notable time loss and we could run in our rhythm. I´m absolutely not tired and I can say it about Akos and Attila as well. For the future, we are still in swing and I hope we can keep this on next days."
